The Society was established in 2004 on the basis of the existing one since 1976. The PTTK "Chapacz" wheel - which can boast a rich tradition and many years of activity.

TT "Chapacz" continues the events led by the "Chapacz" Circle, among others, Summer Kayaking, National Kayaking "Lubuski Water Route" on the Giant River, National Cycling Rally "Po Ziemi Lubuskiej" and the very popular series of events "Ride with us in the mountains", including hiking, and in winter also skiing trips.

The Association also organizes the "Holiday Tourist League", consisting of cycling, hiking and orientation events, as well as the "Open Championships of the Green Mountain in Tourist Orienteering Events", as well as summer and winter holidays for children and young people in the form of wintering areas, summer colonies, canoeing and hiking camps

There are also tourist events for the disabled: Lubuski Integrative Kayaking for the Disabled on the Odra River and trips to the mountains.

The staff of the Society consists of experienced Field Guides in the Lubuskie Land, Tour Pilots, Leaders of Kayaking, Mountain and Ski Tourism, Traffic Recreation Instructors specializing in canoeing, Tour Operators, Mountain Guides.

The statutory goal of the Association is to develop education, culture, recreation, physical culture and environmental protection through tourism and sightseeing.

The association brings together tourists and sightseers, creates conditions facilitating their wandering and sightseeing activities in the country and abroad.

The Association bases its activities on the social work of its members and volunteers, it has no business activity, so the costs of events do not include a margin.
